The curved weight can be used in two ways; either by placing it inside the neoprene dive sock, between the pants and the socks, or by placing it in the neoprene pouch.

This is my ideal solution to ankle weights for freedive spearfishing. The specific shape of the weight makes it easy to slide under the dive socks under the pants. The weights are plastic covered so they don’t slide and they hold position very well. They can also be used with the pouch, for those who prefer a quick release system. The use of ankle weight helps balance themselves more carefully, particularly in shallow water trying to hold position. Each ankle weight weighs 500 grams or just under a pound.
