ICOM launched the  M25 handheld VHF Marine Radio. A good looking radio with more style than the average, is waterproof and floats. It even flashings when their is contact with water so you can spot it at night.

The ICOM M25 VHF is slim and lightweight and also delivers uncompromised performance that will exceed expectations.The IC-M25’s LCD is 30% larger than its predecessor, the IC-M24 and shows clearly large channel number and status icons. The buttons on the front panel are well laid out and provide simple and straightforward operation.  The built-in 1500mAh lithium-ion battery allows 11 hours of long operation.

The IC-M25 has a Micro-B USB connector and can be charged with the supplied AC adaptor in approximately 3 hours . It is not the cheapest handheld but we think it has the best value for money out there.
